FCST Swimmers Commit to College Teams

Three additional First Colony Swim Team athletes have committed to collegiate swimming this fall.  This makes a total of 8 members of the FCST “Class of 2012” who will continue their swimming carriers in colleges across the country.

Antoine Marc, graduating from Westside High School, will swim for Texas A&M while studying Molecular & Cellular Biology.  He’s a distance swimmer having gone to the state high school meet in the 500 freestyle and has qualified for Spring Junior Nationals in several events.

Sydney Hodges, graduating from Travis High School, will swim for M.I.T. in the fall while studying Chemical Engineering.  She was the Travis MVP for four years setting multiple school records.  She’s also a Sectional qualifier in six events.

Clement Dulac, graduating from Clements High School, will swim for East Carolina University in the fall while studying Sports Management.  He went to the state high school meet in four events and qualified for Spring Junior Nationals in 3 events.  He is also the FCST record holder in these events.

First Colony Swim team is USA Gold Medal Swim Club established 31 years ago.  They have eight  swimmers qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials. Under the coaching direction of Allison Beebe, FCST is very proud of these Senior Elite swimmers for continuing their swimming at the collegiate level.
