First Colony SynchroStars Headed to Age Group Nationals Members of the First Colony Synchronized swim team are headed to Miami University in Oxford, OH to compete in Age Group Nationals in late June.  The qualifying regional meet was held recently in Irving, TX, where swimmers had to place in the top 3 to make the national cut.  FCST Competes in Western National: Congratulations to the FCST swimmers who traveled to Midland, Texas on June 14th-17th for the 2012 Western National Meet.  For many swimmers this was their first time traveling to a meet as a team and they did a great job competing and bonding over the four day meet.  For complete results click HERE.   FCST Swimmers at Valero Invitational:Congratulations to the swimmers who traveled to Corpus Christi on June 15th-17th for the Valero Invitational.  The kids had a great time competing in a new environment and even made a trip to the circus!  For complete results click HERE.   FCST Swimmers Commit to College Teams Three additional First Colony Swim Team athletes have committed to collegiate swimming this fall.  This makes a total of 8 members of the FCST “Class of 2012” who will continue their swimming carriers in colleges across the country. Antoine Marc, graduating from Westside High School, will swim for Texas A&M while studying Molecular & Cellular Biology.  He’s a distance swimmer having gone to the state high school meet in the 500 freestyle and has qualified for Spring Junior Nationals in several events.
